About Saori Hara

Saori Hara, also known as Mai Nanami, is a former Japanese adult film actress who has since retired from the industry. She was born on January 1, 1988, in Hiroshima, Japan, and later moved to Tokyo to pursue her career as an actress.

Hara entered the adult entertainment industry in 2007 after she was scouted by an AV production company. Her cute looks and innocent charm quickly made her popular among fans, and she soon became one of the top actresses in the industry.

One of the most memorable roles that Hara played was the lead in the popular erotic film “S&M Hunter” (2008), directed by Shuji Kataoka. The film, which is a parody of the classic Japanese superhero show “Kamen Rider,” featured Hara as a leather-clad dominatrix who saves Tokyo from an evil organization.

In addition to her work in adult films, Hara also appeared in mainstream movies and TV dramas. She made her mainstream debut in the 2009 film “Big Tits Zombie,” a comedy horror movie directed by Takao Nakano. She later starred in the TV drama “Tokyo Dogs” (2009), playing the role of an assistant detective.

Hara’s popularity continued to grow, and she was featured in various magazines and TV shows. She even became a spokesperson for a Japanese mobile phone company.

Despite her success in the industry, Hara faced criticism from some Japanese conservatives who viewed her work as indecent. In 2010, she announced her retirement from the industry, citing health reasons and pressure from her family and fans.

After her retirement, Hara moved to the United States to study fashion design. She also appeared on Japanese talk shows and was often interviewed about her past as an AV actress.

In 2015, Hara made headlines when she was arrested for possession of cocaine in Tokyo. She faced up to seven years in prison and a $6,500 fine, but was eventually released on bail.

Since then, Hara has kept a low profile and has not made any public appearances. She remains a controversial figure in Japan, with some praising her for her contributions to the entertainment industry, while others condemn her for her past work in adult films.

Despite the controversy surrounding her, Saori Hara remains a symbol of Japanese pop culture and a reminder of the impact that the adult entertainment industry has had on Japanese society. Her legacy continues to inspire younger generations of performers and artists, and her contributions to the industry will not be forgotten.
